Like 101 said, remove the pickup tube and inspect. That is a strange problem, once you get air in the system you have bleed it out. I don't care if you hookup to a fuel tanker, you still have to get all the air out of the lines. Just adding fuel to the tank shouldn't make it start. The flow in an L120 is: Tank>Filter>Pump>Carb. The pump can only work so hard against a clogged filter or fuel line. Try this: Pull the inlet hose off of the filter. If the tank is full, gas should flow out. If not, blow back through the hose. You may get crap showing up in the tank, but the line should now flow free.

The wires I thought were for an accessory were actually for the fuel pump. they had the wire ties so tight that it had constant tension and eventually ripped right out of the fuel pump.
