I changed the bar and chain to .050 verses .043, and the saw has been a dog ever since. However, the chain is 10 times better. I decided to mix the fuel according to the manual, 50:1. Depending on the 2 cycle oil and mix they can plug up a little which is enough to make them hard to start and not whine out to full power . I use 2cycle premium Castrol oil 50/1 .
